Bundaberg Writers’ Club

In 2025, Bundaberg Writers’ Club intends to meet on the third Saturday of every month at the School of Arts, opposite the Post Office, in the Bundaberg CBD.

C’you there.

Bundaberg Writers’ Club was founded in May 1991 to allow people interested in writing to meet, chat, practise their craft,  solve problems, and to try out ideas.

Since the club’s establishment, members have been actively involved in the community – presenting literary events like the annual WriteFest, supporting young writers with the YOW awards, taking part in the region’s October CRUSH Festival, and finding as many ways to think and act laterally as we can.

Responding to our members’ interests we have hosted QWC generated programs from writers like Tina Marie Clarke, Trent Jamison and Mary-Rose McColl, Simon Kindt and Christine Wells, continuing to support writers in our region, and in neighbouring regions.
